THE  WRITE  WHALE
How do I work with you?   We can communicate by email.
When you've briefed me on your project, I'll get back to you
with a quote. Your brief can be as long or short as you prefer.
When we agree on a quote, I'll create a plan or outline for
your input. Then I deliver a draft, and then a final copy.

Do you charge by the hour? For large projects, I'll quote for
an entire project. This will help you to budget for the project.
For smaller tasks,  I charge an hourly rate.

How do I know the price won't change half-way through the
project
?   The quote is final. The only time the quote will
change is if you add additional tasks to the project.  In that
case, a new quote will be submitted. Along with the quote, I'll
submit a written agreement that you'll be asked to sign. This
agreement outlines what to expect from both parties, which
protects us both from misunderstandings. Work will not begin
on any project until the agreement is signed and returned,
and the 50% deposit is paid.

How is payment handled?   Once we agree on a quote,
one-half of the fee is due and payable. Another quarter of the
fee is due when the first draft is submitted, and the final
instalment (last quarter) is due when the second draft is
submitted. The preferred method of payment is via PayPal or
e-check.

Can you work to our deadline?  Yes. I will keep you updated
on progress, and will meet your deadline.
